Milestones provides support services to members of vulnerable populations including but not limited to children and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities, seniors and individuals with physical disabilities to allow them to live in their homes and communities. Our clients include unique individuals with conditions associated with aging and/or diagnoses of autism, cerebral palsy, Asperger's, developmental delays and other physical, emotional and neurological challenges. We focus on providing services that meet the individualized needs of our clients therefore we do not try to steer clients toward the activities we want them to engage in, instead we focus on the individual needs and goals of each client and providing them the opportunity to make friends and engage in a variety of home and community setting. To achieve this, we offer the following complement of services:

  • Personal Care/Personal Assistance

  • Non-medical Home Care for Seniors

  • Respite Care

  • Support Employment

  • After-school, and School Break Programs

  • Residential Services

  • Non-emergency Medical Transportation

Adonna Bass Wickliffe and I’m the Executive Director of Milestones Services and the mother of a child with significant special needs. We have been assisting children and adults with developmental and intellectual challenges reach their full potential since 2009. We accomplish this by helping them gain appropriate levels independence in social, academic, and life skills, giving them a voice through advocacy, education and exposure and assisting them in securing meaningful employment.  Our ultimate goal is to improve our clients’ quality of life by helping them reach their full potential, live in their own homes, and become respected members of their community.
